Anxiety 101:
4 Week
Therapy Group for Teens
Anxiety is skyrocketing for our Bay Area teens. We want to give them tools that work.
This 4-week group counseling program is designed specifically for teens struggling with anxiety and stress. It’s part of our comprehensive approach to teen counseling in Dublin, providing practical, research-backed tools teens can actually use in daily life.
Each week focuses on a different theme, helping teens build a personalized anxiety toolkit they can rely on when things get tough.
By the end of the 4 week group, your teen will walk away with effective coping skills, improved confidence, and a better understanding of how to manage anxiety.
This therapy group is ideal for teens who want help with anxiety in Dublin, CA and surrounding east Bay Area cities, and teens throughout California who want to meet virtually.
Group Topics:
Week 1: Anxiety & Stress Basics
What is anxiety, really? How is it different from stress? Teens will learn to recognize the signs of anxiety and understand their unique patterns.
Coping Skills 101: Learn the coping skills that actually work to reduce anxiety vs. the things you may be doing that inadvertently make anxiety worse. Learn how different levels of anxiety need different coping strategies.
Self-Compassion & Self-Esteem: Chronic stress and anxiety take a toll. Reconnecting to self-compassion can be a powerful tool to growth and healing.
Social Issues: Navigating the social scene of teen relationships is already hard, and social situations often exacerbate anxiety. We’ll discuss how social issues impact anxiety and ways to manage social it.
